Let's engage students in reflection and dialogue of the books they are reading during the next few months. This blog forum not only provides students a voice but encourages peers to provide constructive/descriptive feedback, making further connections to their reading experiences and asking questions along the way. Students write about what they are reading and include reading strategies such as inferencing, making connections, summarizing and/or evaluating the text.
this book was pretty good I don't really like baseball but I love all sports
ReplyDeleteI loved it but I hated the ending. They are trapped in this place and the story ends with everyone happy even though they are confined in a sad prison place in New Denver
ReplyDeleteThis book was heartwarming. The story was extremely sad but I love how Kenny was able to keep on keeping on when times were hard and how the Japanese community in the internment camp was able to still live as one and celebrate their holidays and how Kenny organized the whole baseball field where the two teams could play. Overall, this was a great book and a heartwarming read.
